Funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), the ReViTALISE project aimed to bridge the metropolitan-regional clinical trials gap. Over five years, it has successfully achieved its project goals across all seven initiatives, building capacity, capability and improving access to clinical trials in regional Victoria.
Last week, at our final ReViTALISE Face-to-Face meeting, we discussed our collective impact, and shared our proudest achievements. We reflected on what worked well, the lessons learnt, and what we would have done differently. As ReViTALISE wraps up in several weeks, we discussed the progress we would like to see, if the sky was the limit.
There is still much work to be done, enthusiasm for that work, and great pride in our regional identity. With deep gratitude to our funders, colleagues and partners (both regional and metro), we hope the legacy of what we've built will lead to even better outcomes for all Victorians living with cancer.
